Overview
Paolo Omar Sihotang, S.H., is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Indonesia and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies at the University of Indonesia. He serves as a Junior Associate at MR&P Law Office, where he has experience handling various legal matters, including corruption cases in the coal mining and palm oil sectors, civil litigation at the appeal, cassation, and judicial review stages, as well as the drafting and review of commercial agreements. Paolo’s areas of interest and experience include criminal law, civil law, corporate law, procedural law, and litigation, with competencies in legal research and legal drafting. He has gained practical experience through internships at legal aid institutions and law firms, and previously served as a Research Assistant focusing on property law and security rights over shares. Paolo is also actively involved in academic activities and has received awards in various competitions involving civil procedural law research, legal presentations, and statement of claim drafting. He has also published scholarly work in the field of civil procedural law.
